Sweet Tooth Cupcakes

National Cupcake Day is recognized annually on December 15TH to honor these compact, delectable sweets. For many years, cupcakes were known as one-two-three-four cakes. Their traditional recipe consisted of one cup of butter, two cups of sugar, three cups of flour, four eggs, plus one cup of milk and one spoon full of baking soda. This formula is the traditional cupcake recipe still used by many people today.

Most people will stop by their favorite local bakery to pick out a few flavors to share with friends and coworkers. Sprinkles is our top pick for those cities fortunate enough to have one. Tampa Bay is in luck! Sprinkles Tampa is located on South Dakota Ave. Here’s a map.

For those of you that have a taste for creative cooking, we would like to share one of our favorite cupcake finds to help celebrate National Cupcake Day— Sweet Tooth Cupcakes. Nothing like a tooth-shaped cupcake to satisfy your sweet tooth on National Cupcake Day!

The South Tampa Smiles Team believes that caring and sharing go hand-in-hand. Head over to Erica’s Sweet Tooth to learn how to make these adorable cupcakes or your favorite bakery and indulge. These are sure to bring a smile to everyone. Enjoy!
